My apple scions that i grafted this past january are coming out and blossoming. Should I snip off the blossoms to allow its energy to concentrate on the scion? about all of my grafts have bloom. would it branch out if i cut off the blooms?

what sort of taste are you looking for? If you are still looking for banana flavor, you may want to look at winter banana. It's more banana flavor than taste.

Given you and I are both in the same zone and this is being sold in my area, I would say that you would have a good chance with it.

i went to the local ACE hardware store and decided to browse through the bare root plants they had for this spring and came upon this. I guess it's not as high chill as originally thought.

cool, now i don't feel so bad grafting on my spitzenburg & honeycrisp scions. I was eyeing the arkansas black as well but have decided i like the black oxford ones more.
