scion storage

Postby tojowojo » Wed Mar 07, 2018 8:09 am

While scions are waiting dormant to be grafted in the spring, is it advisable to put them in the freezer? the fridge? or does it matter?
Thanks!
Tom

Refrigerate. Freezing isn't recommended. Freezer burn is a possibility. Make sure the scions don't dry out; add a damp piece of paper towel to the zip lock bag you keep the scion wood in.
