ISO bulk Old Home Scion wood

Postby EastBrookFarm » Tue Feb 09, 2016 9:58 am

Hi folks,

I posted here earlier about grafting pears on Hawthorne. We are going to try various experiments, but we would also like to graft a large number of Old Home scions as interstems. i have not found a source for medium quantity (perhaps 100 or so) of Old Home scion. Does anyone have any ideas? how about pear suckers? would that work? anyone have some in quantity? 30+ to 100? thanks!

Old Home specifically, or would OHxF crosses work? I'll have assorted 333 and 513 scion from the rootstocks I'm grafting to this spring.
